THIRD ANNUAL LHC CHRISTMAS PARTY

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8

6:00 PM

Come join us for the Lambda Hiking Club’s third annual Christmas Party! This is a chance to reminisce about the year’s activities, socialize with old friends, make new friends, and enjoy good food and good times. The food will be supplied by us, so bring a potluck dish to share.

If your first name begins with:
A-G: bring a dessert
H-M: bring a main dish
N-S: bring a side dish
T-Z: bring an appetizer (anything but chips, please!).
The fun will also be supplied by us. Bring a white elephant gift to exchange with others at the party. There is even a hint that Santa might make an appearance!

Dick will host this year’s party at his house in Farmington. Please RSVP at the club website (www.gayhike.org) or by calling Randy at 532-8447. Specific directions to Dick’s house will be given when you RSVP.

ART MUSEUM TRIP

The winter season’s first social event was a lot of fun. Nine of us met at the usual time and place on the third Saturday of November.  After a delicious and hearty breakfast at The Other Place restaurant, we headed up to the new Fine Arts Museum. The new building has all the facilities expected of a first rate art museum, including helpful and well informed guides, spacious well lit galleries, a gift shop, and a café. Club president Randy gave those of us who stayed late a wonderful tour of the Far Eastern art exhibits. Randy majored in Art History and lived in Japan for several years, and was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.
