Camila Cabello wants her fans to know she doesn’t believe much in aliens – but a strange sighting in South America might make her reconsider.
During an appearance on The show tonight jimmy fallon she was grilled on a video she captured while exploring a hiking trail with her parents. Camila noted that the area is experiencing “a lot of scary activity…For example, I’m talking about UFO extraterrestrial activity.”
“I don’t want to believe and then I see something that’s not there,” she added before showing the strange video. “I’m not great into the extraterrestrial. I come from a more skeptical mind. She revealed that her father, who is a fan of UFO documentaries, pointed out the strange sighting while reviewing their hiking photos.
Camila said she slowed down the footage and admits, “I think we may have caught a UFO.” The video shows that, as his mother and father turn to smile at the camera, three circular objects shoot overhead and towards the mountains in the background.
“It’s not a bird. It’s not about the phone,” she stressed. As for what she believes now, Camila revealed, “I think the aliens trusted me to capture a UFO moment.”
The singer joked that the paranormal event may have happened to her because she wasn’t expecting to see one – because it wasn’t even on her radar – and that’s why she was chosen for live the strange spectacle.
“They wanted to convince you,” Fallon said.
Camila isn’t the only singer who believes we’re not alone in the universe. Post Malone, Kesha and Demi Lovato all presented their own paranormal experiences.
