ICON2020 seeks to impart knowledge about entertainment in marketing – Entertainment

A five-day conference titled ICON2020 will be held online starting Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.

Initiated in 2016 by business building company GDP Venture, ICON aims to discuss current issues in marketing, business and the digital industry.

ICON2020 carries the theme Entertainment nowwhich seeks to spread knowledge about how entertainment can add value to a business or brand to make it more relevant to the younger generation.

The event will feature speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including Spotify Southeast Asia Marketing Manager Jan-Paul Jeffrey, TikTok Indonesia Content and User Operations Manager Angga Anugrah Putra, Rep. from MOLA TV Mirwan Suwarso, the founder and CEO of entertainment company 88rising, Sean Miyashiro, the founder of Narasi.TV and journalist Najwa Shihab, Deputy Director of Bank Central Asia (BCA) Armand Hartono, the platform’s CEO e-commerce manager Kusumo Martanto, Lionsgate Play representative Guntur S. Siboro, Garena Hans Saleh, Head of Indonesia and MENA, Podcaster Laila Achmad, CEO of Visinema Angga Sasongko and Film Producer of Visinema Anggia Kharisma, co-founder and CEO of gaming hardware company Razer, Min-Liang Tan, CEO of game developer Agate International, Arief Widhiyasa, the president of the Indonesian Esport Premiere League (IESPL), Giring Ganesha, and CEO of GDP Venture, Martin Hartono.

ICON2020 will post videos of the speaker sessions each day during the event on the video site KASKUS-TVdivided by subtopics such as Create Excitement and Monetize, From Awareness to Affection, Always on trend and relevant, Think big with gaming and music Next.

To view the videos, tickets can be purchased at with prices starting at Rp 62,500 (US4.43). Pre-sale tickets will be available until December 9, while general ticket sales are open until December 18.

“ICON2020 differs from its predecessors in that it can be viewed online with the ‘watch and rewind’ concept, which means that people who have purchased the tickets can enjoy each session for seven days, [and] they can watch it repeatedly at any time, GDP Venture CMO Danny Wirianto said in a statement.
