Yucaipa Music Festival gives hats off to park reopening after fire – San Bernardino Sun

It’s been almost two years since the El Dorado Ranch park in Yucaipa closed its doors after a devastating fire of the same name tore up the region and the surrounding mountains.

The city celebrated the reopening of the park and the work underway nearby Five Winds Ranch with music, riding mechanical bulls and camping.

The Five Winds Country Music Festival took place on Friday June 24th and Saturday June 25th. It included artists such as Frankie Ballard and Granger Smith with Earl Dibbles Jr.

“During the park’s closure, the city has worked diligently to not only rehabilitate the natural landscape … but has also worked on the development of the Five Winds Ranch property,” city spokesman Shane Massoud said in a statement. an email.

At the park, visitors “will once again be able to enjoy the natural open space, trails and amenities of the park,” he added.

When completed, the ranch will provide space for horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, archery, camping and special events.

Massoud called the festival “an exciting taste of what’s to come in this place.”
