Expect the unexpected. This would probably be a very good motto for backpacking. After all, we never know what surprises – waterfalls, caves or local wildlife – await us around every corner. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind hike loaded with memorable moments, you’ve just found it. Hike with goats in Pennsylvania for an unforgettable adventure.
In these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list at a later date.
Meet Hope, Faith, Harry, Caramel, Zippidity, Hoot and Peppe, a group of friendly and adorable goats. They just might become your new best friends on this unique goat trek through Philadelphia’s Wissahickon Valley Park.
Goat treks take place on certain days of the month. Here is a list of upcoming hikes.
The group of goats you’ll be spending time with call Rose Bridge Farm & Sanctuary in Dresher, and they’re probably the cutest tour guides you’ll meet.
Hope, Faith and the gang are joined by volunteers to lead you on a 30-minute hike through the scenic park. Guests are limited to 14 per ride.
The relatively low number of hikers on each outing means you will have the opportunity to interact with and walk the goats.
After your hike, you will have time to relax, pet, cuddle and shower the goats with love. Don’t forget your camera so you can take pictures of your adventure.
Hikes are $25 per person. Check the next dates and book your hike.
If you love animals, be sure to check out the other events hosted by Rose Bridge Farm & Sanctuary – goat and kitten cuddles, for example.
Stop by the official Rose Bridge Farm & Sanctuary website for more information. Or go here for Facebook.
