Chubb’s New Solution Streamlines Absence Management and Benefits with Employers and Employees in Mind

WHITEHOUSE STATION, NJ, January 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Chubb has launched its Chubb WorkInsightSM solution that integrates and streamlines absence management and employee benefits for medium and large companies. The unique new solution is available through Chubb’s Workplace Benefits division.

Chubb’s new WorkInsight solution enables employers to proactively track and manage worker compensation; Family Medical Leave Act; company-specific holidays; short-term incapacity; and accident, critical illness and hospitalization compensation programs. Chubb WorkInsight provides employers with comprehensive data and reports that allow them to make informed and impactful decisions that benefit both employee and employer.

The announcement comes at a time when new concerns about employee safety, absence and productivity are weighing heavily on business leaders and human resources managers. Employee absenteeism and productivity are key and growing priorities for employers. Productivity has been shown to decrease nearly 30% due to employee absence, with more than 15% of salary costs directly related to absence. Additionally, in 2019 employers paid $510 million to workers following a number of ERISA complaints. According to Integrated Benefit Institutemore effective monitoring and management of absences has been shown to improve results and compliance and deliver a return on investment of up to 15%.

“In today’s environment, managing absences and benefits is becoming increasingly complex,” said Chris Martin, division president of Chubb North America Accident and Health. “Our new WorkInsight offering is truly a unique approach to the market. Our streamlined solution benefits employers and their employees by providing a single platform partner in one place. WorkInsight demonstrates Chubb’s ongoing commitment to helping employers to reduce costs, mitigate financial risk and, at the same time, provide a state-of-the-art claims experience for employees.”
